Booking Through Thursday is another one of those fun weekly participatory things, and it was born here.
Question of the week:
I’ve seen many bloggers say that what draws them to certain books or authors is good writing, and what causes them to stop reading a certain book or author is bad writing. What constitutes good writing and bad writing to you?
My Answer: This is a very complicated question with a very simple answer. Good writing is writing that appeals to the reader, and bad writing is writing that does not. The thing is, every reader is different. What I may like, someone else may hate. To me, good writing is lyrical, not overly descriptive, and is grammatically correct.
